Lakeside Worship Choir
The Lakeside Worship Choir seeks to lead our church family in worship through the singing of Christ-centered music that contain Biblical Truths as a joyful expression of our Faith in God. Members of the Worship Choir seek to point hearts and minds toward the greatness, goodness, and grace of God and our collective desire is that every song we lead would encourage believers, proclaim the Gospel, and bring glory to Jesus Christ.

The Lakeside Worship Choir is open to 5th Graders - Adults who have a heart for worship and a desire to lead our church in praise to our Lord & Savior.
The Worship Choir will lead worship 2 - 3 times a month on Sunday Mornings.
Worship Choir rehearsals are on Wednesday Evenings from 7:05 - 8:30 p.m. in the Worship Center Choir Loft.

Children’s Worship Arts Choir
The Lakeside Children’s Worship Arts Choir meets on Select Sundays from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. and is open to all 1st - 6th Graders.
Our Worship Arts Choir Program is committed to helping children grow in their knowledge and love of Jesus by learning how to worship through singing, acting, and serving our Lord and His church. Rehearsals include learning worship songs with fun & engaging motions, basic music theory, speech and acting sessions, devotional time, and recreation time.
The Children’s Worship Arts Choir will lead our congregation this semester on Multi-Generational Sunday (Oct. 18) and for our Christmas Musical (Dec. 5 & 6).
CWA Choir provides a fun, Christ-centered environment where children can build friendships, gain confidence, learn about worship, and experience the joy of using their voices to glorify God. We believe that children are not simply the church of tomorrow - they are an important part of the church today.
We invite your child to join us as we learn, sing, act, serve, and worship together!

The Lakeside Worship Arts Bands (Advanced & Beginner) is open to 3rd Graders - 12th Graders who want to learn how to serve their Lord by learning to play a musical instrument. The Worship Arts Bands lead worship once a month on Sunday Mornings.
Worship Arts Band Rehearsals are on Sunday Afternoons in the Worship Choir Room.

Advanced Worship Arts Band Members are expected to be leaders in our Worship, Student, & Children’s Ministries while also being able to perform at an advanced level of proficiency vocally and on their instrument . This group will also have opportunities to be involved in evangelistic opportunities in our community and beyond.
ADVANCED BAND REQUIREMENTS & EXPECTATIONS
1. MAKE ALL BAND REHEARSALS.
Rehearsals are Two or Three Times a Month on Sunday Afternoons.
2. MUST KNOW HOW TO PLAY THEIR INSTRUMENT & SING AT AN ADVANCED LEVEL.
Keyboard | Acoustic Guitar | Electric Guitar | Bass Guitar | Ukulele | Drums
*Vocal opportunities will come as soon as you are able to hold down an instrumental part. We do not have Vocal-Only Spots in this Ministry.
3. MUST BE TEACHABLE & HAVE A HUMBLE, SERVANT-DRIVEN HEART & TEAM-FIRST MENTALITY.
It takes time, hard work, and dedication to learn to play an instrument and more importantly learn how to serve in a band setting. It will not happen overnight…but the more you practice the quicker you will be able to move up into a leadership role within the band.
4. MUST BE WILLING TO SET A POSITIVE EXAMPLE & TONE FOR OUR WORSHIP, STUDENT, & CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES & OUR CHURCH
Band Members will be required and expected to lead out in worship & encouragement on and off the stage. It is a life-style not a performance.
5. MOST IMPORTANTLY: THE WORSHIP ARTS BAND EXISTS TO LEAD OTHERS IN PRAISE & WORSHIP OF OUR HOLY & AWESOME TRIUNE GOD.
We do not perform so that we can entertain or impress our friends and family or to bring any glory to ourselves.
We lead our brothers and sisters in Christ so that we all can give our best & highest praise to our Lord and Savior who is worthy of all our praise.
We play for an audience of ONE.
