Safety First

Your child’s safety is of the utmost concern to us. That’s why we make sure our children’s areas are as safe and secure as possible. All teachers and volunteers are required to submit to a thorough background check and trained in child safety procedures.

With this in mind, please follow these check-in procedures Sunday and Wednesday activities.

• Check-in your children aged 1st-6th Grades at our electronic stations at the front of the Children’s area.
• Your child will receive a label with a unique number and you will receive a corresponding parent/guardian label for identification purposes at pickup.

Children’s Ministry Overview

As children grow into young men and women they will not only find their own place in the world but will work to reshape it. We offer a variety of programs and activities designed to help children grow in their knowledge of and relationship with the Lord. Also, to help them experience the joy Christians can share through fellowship and worship.

First Baptist Lakeside has many opportunities to minister to and assist parents as they guide their children through this growth process. Children are encouraged to reach for the future. We as a church accept the same challenge. By ministering to children, we truly are touching the future.

E-Group Classes

Age-graded classes are available during our E-Group hour on Sunday mornings for 1st-6th grades. Fun activities are combined with Biblically-based teaching to enhance your child’s spiritual development.
